Which Search Console export do I need?

The Dates tab export with at least 14 days of data. The Queries and Pages exports are optional and work best in Compare mode.

Why compare week over week?

It shows problems and wins quickly. Always compare full weeks, because weekends usually get less traffic.

Why does the latest day look low?

Search Console data is 2-3 days behind and the newest day can be incomplete.
